Benjamin NSIAH isa development economist, an Environmental and Energy Researcher with years professional working experience consulting for individuals and organizations on energy, environment and petroleum related issues. He is the Executive Director for CEMSE. Before assuming the new role, he was the Head of Research at Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) from 2019 to 2022. He holds MA Economic Policy Management (EPM) from the University of Ghana and MA Development Studies from Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana. At COPEC, he developed a model for calculating and predicting fuel prices in windows, and worked with a technical committee that organised a fuel quantity and quality workshop with commercial drivers in Ghana. His new role as CEMSE has seen him work on consumer perceptions of the CRM in Greater Accra, Petroleum Industry Employee Surveys among Tanker Drivers and Fuel Attendants in Greater Accra and Analysis of Premiums charged on LPG by BIDECs. He is a public commentator who has contributed to national discourse on energy and petroleum related issues.
