The Centre for Environmental Management and Sustainable Energy (CEMSE) is an organization established under the laws of Ghana to conduct research and advocacy in areas of energy security, sustainability, and environmental management. The center uses secondary and primary research to contribute to policy formulations in accessibility and affordability of energy sources without compromising their impact on the environment. In addition, we delve into sustainable ways of natural resource exploration and environmental management practices within the framework of national, regional and international environmental treaties. It is a policy advocacy organization that informs policy makers on appropriate and sustainable policy decisions in Ghana’s petroleum, power, resource exploration and built environment. The center is built on four working themes which include Training, Research, Advocacy and Promotion (TRAP).

To apply scientific approach in influencing policy decisions on Climate Change and Sustainable exploration of natural resources as well as building the necessary human institutions for sustainable energy and environmental practices.

To be the policy institution well established for innovative Environment and Sustainable energy research and training.
